Thailand Experience..

Island hopping

I had a good and bad experienced in this country Thailand.. Since I was traveling alone, I was able to see and check so many places, from hotels to foods, fares to tours, and so many stuff that the only country made me cry because of the hotel I booked online was so deceiving that I need to transfer hotel that are comfortable and worth the price..
Khoa San Palace Hotel, Bangkok
This hotel is reasonably cheap and nice, clean, lots of travelers stays here, this was the hotel were I transferred from Sawasdee Hotel(filthy, uncomfortable). Very convenient, outside the hotel premises you can see lots of street foods that are ok and yummy you can see them cooking it for you, so cheap, 24hrs 7/11 convenient store, massage place, and bars are everywhere that party all night long til dawn, and most of all restaurants that are fancy but still cheap.
Khoa San Road, known for budget travelers, foreigners..
90% are foreigners, 10% locals
Bangkok's Khao San Road, a thriving community that caters to the every need of the budget travelers. And its the centre of the backpacking universe. Bustling with a bevy of budget accommodation.
Judging by the truth-seeking travellers who converge here to shop, exchange tales and prepare for their next stint on the backpacker trail, it's a phrase that sums it up pretty much perfectly.

Thai wat po massage

help you decide what’s best, there is Swedish, Foot, Oil, Thai & Reflexology massage to name but a few.

Thailand is famous for massages and traditional Thai massage is used for medicinal purposes as well as for therapeutic ones.
In Thailand you will find a multitude of massage places to choose from. Tell the masseuse what ails you and let them

You really can’t say you’ve experienced Thailand without succumbing the world of massage.

Thai Elephant, the symbol of the nation.
Elephant riding has become an integral part of all tourists' visits to Thailand. Well-trained elephants can be ridden through local villages and surrounding forests.

Ayutthaya - Thailand
Tourist attractions throughout the country will often have a resident elephant, however serious trekkers and elephant riders will need to go to the northern regions of Thailand for a richer experience.
Phad Thai on the right corner ;)
I love their Phad Thai, and its so cheap, its considered as street foods in Khao San Road, Bangkok. You can just choose whatever Phad Thai you want, if its with seafoods, or just the regular phad thai with the noodles and beans sprout..
Phad Thai (Thai Noodles) is one of the best-known dishes of Thailand . It is a meal on its own with many variations, but should always include noodles and peanuts. This is the one noodle dish to master, and to love, over all the others. It’s so addictive that it alone would keep Thai cuisine alive.

Koh Samui Thailand

The Island is a very serene place where you can get in touch with the depth of the bright blue sea with its clear water and unspoiled white sandy beach. The tranquil surroundings will assure you of a peaceful stay in touch with nature while enjoying the comforts.
this is where i stayed in Samui
The beaches also are lovely but nothing beats the Philippine beaches.. But Koh Samui is one of the popular tourist destinations in Thailand. Lots of foreigners in this Island, they usually call Koh Samui as Samui coz Koh pertains to an Island.
I stayed here for a week and this trip of mine was to relax and take in some of the sights. This is what I found.
Mae Nam Beach
Chaweng Beach

Lamai Beach

first time in my life to go kayaking

very nice lake, this was in different island but I was not able to go swimming

the hidden falls, not everyone knows about it

caught by a big waves and almost smash me off the rocks!  the risk is incredible.
They say, Thailand is often called the "land of smiles," not only because visitors love its natural beauty and historical riches, but also because of the country's friendly people and fascinating culture.
But when I was in Bangkok, they just ignore me like I don't exist, I ask them things like when I go to restaurants they don't bother to answer back, maybe because I look like a Thai? hmmm, but still that was so negative impression I got with Thai people, they don't even smile at me, yet they called Thai people as charming maybe in most cases but for me, i dont think so haha and most of them doesn't speak English..
Here are some photos taken with locals.
poor family that Jim known and supports for few years now.. ;)
one of the guards in a nice hotel in Samui
wow, no helmet!! I thought this only happens in the PI but also in Thailand hehe

Temples in Thailand

Visiting Thailand's gorgeous temples is often a highlight of a visit to the country. History, culture, and atmosphere all combine for a uniquely Thai experience.

You don’t have to be Buddhist to visit a Buddhist temple in Thailand. But just because you don’t practice the religion doesn’t mean you shouldn’t respect it, especially in a place of worship. Following a few simple guidelines will make your visit better for both you and for the Thai worshippers and monks.

I was astonished by this attractions when I saw this hahaha the Hin Ta & Hin Yai, which means Grandfather and Grandmother Rock respectively, is a pair of rock formations along the southeastern coast of Koh Samui.

What makes Hin Ta & Hin Yai such an oddity was that these two rock formations, a short distance from each other, are in the shape of the male and female genitalia.

In addition to viewing these curious rock forms, the scenery at Hin Ta & Hin Yai is spectacular. To reach the rocks, you need to pass along a path lined on both sides with souvenir stalls selling mostly items made from coconut shells and seashells.

And the place I've seen that amazed me the most was the Samui Airport, its like a resort! no aircon but fresh air and so nice and lovely place.. And even the restroom was so amazing!!
