Beat the Heat!!

During the summer, there's nothing more satisfying than a cool bath or shower.. Even running cold water over my wrist for a few minutes cools me down. Whenever I can't sleep since i sleep during daytime because of the heat I shower like 3-5 times no kidding that's true, I don't have air condition in my room that's why I drink cold ice water like two liters a day.

The midday increase the sun increases the heat in the house and making it difficult to cools down in the evening since we all use the lights and it adds heat inside the room, more more heat.

I think going for a break in the beach is a very good idea during this time of the year. The summer months often mean travel time at hometown, aboard and most specially at the beach. I'm planning to travel going to the beach and somewhere out the metropolis. Its just nice to stay on the beach having those tan brown skin and just enjoy the summer season.

Finding ways to beat the heat is about more than just comfort. Staying cool this summer may mean the difference between a season filled with fun activities and one spent in what i called, horizontal mode.

Summer time is a great season for cold drinks to be enjoyed by every one while playing outside and even while having fun at the beach.

Mix seasonal fruits with juices, wines or spirits to make refreshing drinks to enjoy during the long hot summer. Beat the heat with this cool summer drinks, from blended fruit drinks to creative twist on classic lemonade.

Usually families have more time to spend together during this season the most, being out the sun, swimming, with all fun activities that make up the meaning of summer time along with summer time holidays.

Enjoy the summer days.. :)

Traveling is my Passion!

I always have great passion for traveling.

The traveling is the great for the recreation and relaxation, it is always fun with the family and friends, I used to travel alone most of the time and know I'm happy to know that I have my man who always with me all the time not only in traveling but he's always in my heart. The man of my life.

A fortune teller once looked at my palm and said, "Where are you going?"

I have always been fascinated to find out that no matter where you go, may that be the beautifully barren landscape, to the jungle forests, people always have the same dreams to be able to travel in different places and countries to experience and discover the life of the locals.

The best thing, for me, about the trip was being able to experience the different culture. Being able to meet different people and be a part of their lives for few weeks was unbelievable! Just laying back and enjoying life. I really did meet some people that I can call friends which is crazy. I got to do everything I wanted to do while I'm in a certain country like enjoying the beach, site seeing,  and celebrating my birthday (what a party!), and I made a few friends I really will never forget.

I have long believed that traveling, is the biggest harbinger of harmony and unity amongst people.

My passion or dreams haven’t changed much since young. Travel is the biggest motivation that pushes me to work harder to save enough money to explore

But one thing I've learned when I travel, I could see the moon is just the same as what I can see when I'm in the Philippines. The sky, the stars and the moon they are all look the same... from any part of the world you are looking at them, the moon and the stars and the sky... are the same, because they come from one creator.

These are just few photos taken during my travels.. I've been traveling since younger years and now I can fully say that I can just go anywhere I wanted and I'm aware of things that a backpacker always do and encounter.

Missing someone

Missing someone is not as easy as eating mangoes. Missing someone I love makes me hurt because I cannot be with him when he needed me the most and vice versa. And when time doesn't permit us to be together.
I think of you more each day, and it hurts, I feel like my insides are ripping apart with the mere thought of seeing  you just on skype nor chatting with you on viber. I am waiting but I can only be so patient. I know I will see you very soon my loveedude. i just wanna write this blog so everyone can read this that I'm seriously missing the man of my life, I wanna let you know that you are the man that walked into my life.. Thinking of you but still I am missing you..

yes you!

When I miss you, sometimes I cry, sometimes I laugh, but most of the time I just think about what an impact you made in my life, and smile...

I want to feel your touch, I want to kiss you, but at this moment I can't cause we are miles apart. but I will wait for the chance to be with you again.

I want you in my life, it's not because you complete me, not because I can't live without you but because I see goodness inside you, I see beauty inside you, you make me a better person and you make me want to be a better person.

Learning how to live together, no matter what comes our way. Living together with patience, with trust and honesty and most of all living together with love.

Happiness, my sexy sweet love, is all I wish for the two of us. I know that together we can achieve it!

My Fave Place, Hong Kong

Hong Kong is an action-packed city where there is something going on every day of the week.

I always celebrate Christmas in this beautiful country, its not Christmas without jingle bell lol..

The Hong Kong weather in winter doesn't necessarily mean overcoats and gloves. Winter weather in Hong Kong is mostly cold and dry.  Local people do not like this as much as Autumn as it is too cold.  Like Spring it is a time of alternation as it goes between a clear and overcast sky. Hong Kong winter season doesn't snow actually and its still consider winter season. Winter season is from November to February and its the same as the rest of northern hemisphere.

Boasting an excellent public transporation network, it is so easy to get around Hong Kong by MTR (Subway), Buses, Ferries and Trams etc.

MTR Hong Kong operates Airport Express Railway and urban metro railways

Beautiful Views from The Peak (Victoria Peak)
Hong Kong, The City of Life, has one of the most beautiful and stunning views in the world! Therefore it is nick named "Pearl of the Orient". So when you come to Hong Kong, you must not miss this marvellous night scene!

To reach The Peak, you can take a ride on The Peak Tram. The steepest gradient is i think 35 degrees, which offers you an unforgettable journey.

Just a reminder, if you have enough time, you should reach the Peak before the sunsets, so that you can enjoy the day-view, sunset and night view of Hong Kong!

Vietnam July-August 2011

This Photo was taken when I went for city tour and
this is the Reunification Palace!

Who says that Vietnam is a scary country to visit?? I don't think so, the Philippines is ;( ...
I enjoyed my trip in Vietnam even though it was raining the whole trip I was there but I met a lot of people that makes my travel so worth it..
Just being crazy tourist!

Pho noodles, beef

I really liked the foods like the PHO Vietnamese noodles, and Im craving now for their Vietnamese spring rolls so good and I love it so much..

And my fave Avocado Shake hmmm yummmy...

This is my friend Lynn Phan,  so thankful to have a very good friend from Vietnam, she arranged everything from my hotel and my other travels to southern Vietnam, Thanks Lynn the next time you visit the PI i will also tour you around like you did for me.. Your family are so lovely..

At the new cafe trying their Vietnamese ice tea and tried their hot chocolate since I don't drink coffee, Lynn had a black coffee.. :)

I really enjoyed my time with her, she paid our drinks and I paid our breakfast.

It was my first time to try their long bread, the Vietnamese bread that this old lady is holding, she puts alot of stuff on it.. And I think it was good but just hard bread lol..

This is the typical Vietnamese woman who sells stuff like delicacies, chips.. its like  woman wearing a traditional Vietnamese conical hat riding a bicycle..

This is their provincial bus going to Southern and Northern Vietnam like Hanoi, I was astonished that there were no Vietnamese on the bus I took going to Mu Nei, we were all foreigners, except for the driver and the guy who gives the tickets and the free water.. This is what we call lazyboy bus here in the Philippines..Its an incredibly comfortable chair, that you can stretch to be your own bed, whenever you travel like 5 hours or so.

When I went to visit the Southern Vietnam I stayed in this luxurious resort that I think they reaped me off by charging me alot on tours, well I just had 1tour for the day, just wanna see different temples, museums and even places and views..

The Motorcycles are presently the primary mode of transport in the major Vietnamese cities. In both Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City, they have 4millions motorcycles according to my guide.. Its like 90% of the people has a motorcycle, even teens own one.. And its really nice when they have their own way for motorcycles only!

This was so sad when I read this from the Ho Chi Min museum, traumatic experiences of war with Americans..
I really can't describe myself to how I felt after reading this, coz I noticed that people just go and check what its really like to see the museum, they don't really read whats in there and realize whats the purpose of going to the museum..

Anyhow, I enjoyed my stay in this beautiful country for a week, meet people not only locals but foreigners too..
Visit local people along the way and enjoy Vietnamese hospitality customs. Great chance to learn more about Vietnamese culture, customs, Vietnam war.
