Thailand Experience..

Island hopping

I had a good and bad experienced in this country Thailand.. Since I was traveling alone, I was able to see and check so many places, from hotels to foods, fares to tours, and so many stuff that the only country made me cry because of the hotel I booked online was so deceiving that I need to transfer hotel that are comfortable and worth the price..
Khoa San Palace Hotel, Bangkok
This hotel is reasonably cheap and nice, clean, lots of travelers stays here, this was the hotel were I transferred from Sawasdee Hotel(filthy, uncomfortable). Very convenient, outside the hotel premises you can see lots of street foods that are ok and yummy you can see them cooking it for you, so cheap, 24hrs 7/11 convenient store, massage place, and bars are everywhere that party all night long til dawn, and most of all restaurants that are fancy but still cheap.
Khoa San Road, known for budget travelers, foreigners..
90% are foreigners, 10% locals
Bangkok's Khao San Road, a thriving community that caters to the every need of the budget travelers. And its the centre of the backpacking universe. Bustling with a bevy of budget accommodation.
Judging by the truth-seeking travellers who converge here to shop, exchange tales and prepare for their next stint on the backpacker trail, it's a phrase that sums it up pretty much perfectly.

serenity Thai massage tables

Thai wat po massage

help you decide what’s best, there is Swedish, Foot, Oil, Thai & Reflexology massage to name but a few.

Thailand is famous for massages and traditional Thai massage is used for medicinal purposes as well as for therapeutic ones.
In Thailand you will find a multitude of massage places to choose from. Tell the masseuse what ails you and let them

You really can’t say you’ve experienced Thailand without succumbing the world of massage.

Thai Elephant, the symbol of the nation.
Elephant riding has become an integral part of all tourists' visits to Thailand. Well-trained elephants can be ridden through local villages and surrounding forests.

Ayutthaya - Thailand
Tourist attractions throughout the country will often have a resident elephant, however serious trekkers and elephant riders will need to go to the northern regions of Thailand for a richer experience.
Phad Thai on the right corner ;)
I love their Phad Thai, and its so cheap, its considered as street foods in Khao San Road, Bangkok. You can just choose whatever Phad Thai you want, if its with seafoods, or just the regular phad thai with the noodles and beans sprout..
Phad Thai (Thai Noodles) is one of the best-known dishes of Thailand . It is a meal on its own with many variations, but should always include noodles and peanuts. This is the one noodle dish to master, and to love, over all the others. It’s so addictive that it alone would keep Thai cuisine alive.

Koh Samui Thailand

The Island is a very serene place where you can get in touch with the depth of the bright blue sea with its clear water and unspoiled white sandy beach. The tranquil surroundings will assure you of a peaceful stay in touch with nature while enjoying the comforts.
this is where i stayed in Samui
The beaches also are lovely but nothing beats the Philippine beaches.. But Koh Samui is one of the popular tourist destinations in Thailand. Lots of foreigners in this Island, they usually call Koh Samui as Samui coz Koh pertains to an Island.
I stayed here for a week and this trip of mine was to relax and take in some of the sights. This is what I found.
Mae Nam Beach
Chaweng Beach

Lamai Beach

first time in my life to go kayaking

very nice lake, this was in different island but I was not able to go swimming

the hidden falls, not everyone knows about it

caught by a big waves and almost smash me off the rocks!  the risk is incredible.
They say, Thailand is often called the "land of smiles," not only because visitors love its natural beauty and historical riches, but also because of the country's friendly people and fascinating culture.
But when I was in Bangkok, they just ignore me like I don't exist, I ask them things like when I go to restaurants they don't bother to answer back, maybe because I look like a Thai? hmmm, but still that was so negative impression I got with Thai people, they don't even smile at me, yet they called Thai people as charming maybe in most cases but for me, i dont think so haha and most of them doesn't speak English..
Here are some photos taken with locals.
poor family that Jim known and supports for few years now.. ;)
one of the guards in a nice hotel in Samui
wow, no helmet!! I thought this only happens in the PI but also in Thailand hehe

Temples in Thailand

Visiting Thailand's gorgeous temples is often a highlight of a visit to the country. History, culture, and atmosphere all combine for a uniquely Thai experience.

You don’t have to be Buddhist to visit a Buddhist temple in Thailand. But just because you don’t practice the religion doesn’t mean you shouldn’t respect it, especially in a place of worship. Following a few simple guidelines will make your visit better for both you and for the Thai worshippers and monks.

I was astonished by this attractions when I saw this hahaha the Hin Ta & Hin Yai, which means Grandfather and Grandmother Rock respectively, is a pair of rock formations along the southeastern coast of Koh Samui.

What makes Hin Ta & Hin Yai such an oddity was that these two rock formations, a short distance from each other, are in the shape of the male and female genitalia.

In addition to viewing these curious rock forms, the scenery at Hin Ta & Hin Yai is spectacular. To reach the rocks, you need to pass along a path lined on both sides with souvenir stalls selling mostly items made from coconut shells and seashells.

And the place I've seen that amazed me the most was the Samui Airport, its like a resort! no aircon but fresh air and so nice and lovely place.. And even the restroom was so amazing!!

Why I hate Saturdays!!

I was wondering whether people like them or dislike them ;0 ??
But we all know, everyone loves Saturdays, the day that everyone meet their friends, hang out, watch movies, anything you can do, weekend would always be the NO WORK day but for me its my first day of work, but actually I'm working on graveyard shift, sucks!!

I've had Saturday's off from work which is amazing and hasn't happened since I was employed to my present company...

I really did try not to, I promise, but its just that I cannot keep pretending that there aren't like 50 reasons why Saturdays suck.

If we were to even go back in time, we'd find that I haven't ever really had much Saturday luck.

One of the biggest reasons I hate Saturdays is because everyone else has them off.

I'm sure its rough on the other of the spectrum......not being able to go to that concert or party because you're working Saturday, or having to cancel that trip because you couldnt get anyone to cover your weekend shift....

Perhaps we might just do away with Saturdays and instead just give everyone a random day off during the week, with the option to sync up with a few other friends or something. I dunno, I'm sure that's a terrible idea but probably I'm going insane from all the Saturday Blues. Apparently I hate everything these days though, so I guess we can just add this to that list hahaha...

Life is a wretched gray Saturday, but it has to be lived through.!!

I am Hurt!!!

Why does things go on negative result if someone hurt us so bad?? Yes, I am so hurt, for the things you've said and the things you've done..
God is so insistent on us being able to forgive those who will hurt us,if you do not get a grip on these negative emotions when they start to try and settle .
The best way to get rid of painful and negative emotions is to let them go. If we can get distance, we can see them more clearly. Try getting some, positive things to say, because the other things left me feeling so bad. So I did not entirely let go of my anger and hurt, but I didn't feed it or act on it.

Sometimes accepting the painful emotions can reduce our suffering, because we are no longer
running from them or pushing them away. At times this acceptance can reduce our pain.
I just try to feel and make myself happy on things I have and the people around me helps me make myself comfortable and ease the painful emotions that I have now ;(

Sometimes when I feel a very painful emotion, like anger or a deep  grief, I hold onto it, or I intensify it, making it stronger or bigger, in my efforts to deal with it or to give it my full  attention.I try to imagine an ocean wave flowing through me, but not so big that it knocks me over.
If someone tells us our future looks a certain way, ask what the other realities look like. Its more complicated that other people don't have the future and sometimes they destroy the future that in-store for them because they are hurt!
I just always remember that I am a courageous person for doing this work, and that I deserve and will have success and move closer to a happier and more fulfilling life.
I just wish that person will tell me this messages above..

everyday is a gift ;)

Everyday is a gift that's why its called a present, making the most of each day, improving the quality of your life. They say, yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift.

We cannot do anything about the past or the future, only today. It is very special that we have today, so it is a gift or present. The word present has more than one meaning. It also means "now, the current time". So the quotation takes advantage of the two different meanings of the word "present".

Its a new beginning, whatever hurt or pain we have in the past, remember that, yesterday ended last night..

Only in the Philippines ;)

Its funny that so many stuff you can only see and experience in the PI. Anything and mostly are so funny and strange things. Like this photo... ;)

Isn't it so funny that u can only see this in the Philippines..?
Amazing 7-10 person per motorbike hahahaha..

Filipinos are a good cook. Loves to eat most of all delicacies, something pleasing to eat that is considered rare or luxurious.

And I know mostly foreigners didn't try the Balut, most of them says "yuk" and they never tried, one reason was the egg looks nasty! but we like balut so much, they say its good and makes your knees stronger hahahaha...

Filipinos have a great sense of humour. They always find time to exchange a joke or two, or weave an amusing story. Aside from being amusing, Pinoy jokes reflect the Filipinos’ ability to adapt to changing times. Pinoy jokes also demonstrate the Filipino way of looking at things: to make fun out of our own lolz.

For sure this kind of transportation can only be seen here in the Philippines.. This is what we call "jeepney".
It can carry 16-20 passengers.

If you are a foreigner in this country, communication is really not a problem, most of the Pinoy speaks good English, but its either people will reap you off or bring you anywhere, mostly taxi drivers eventhough they know the place but they pretend they don't. Its a shame they are doing it but sometimes we cannot avoid it,so if they are with me, I make sure that my foreigner friends will not be experiencing the kind of behavior and attitude of some Filipinos.
Boracay Island

White Island, Camigiun

Dakak beach in Dapitan

Puerto Prinsesa, Palawan Beach
I can certainly tell all of you that beaches here are so nice, nothing beats the Philippine beaches, I was able to go most of the beaches here coz Im a beach bum.

Anyone visiting the Philippines?
You will really enjoy your vacation ;)

work sometimes sucks!!

I need to come early so i will not be late obviously lol ;) but onething that makes me happy about work is not the job itself but the people around me makes me happy.
